Astronz Scholarship
The Astronz Scholarship, offered via the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand, is available to undergraduate students studying at a university in New Zealand who wish to attend the annual Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand conference.
The conference will take place in Whakatane from Friday, May 9th to Sunday, May11th, 2025.
The Scholarship is worth $600 and will cover the cost of Conference Registration ($200) and attendance at the Conference Dinner ($75). The remainder of the Scholarship can be used to cover travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending the conference.
Application information will be available from here in early 2025. A closing date will be announced.
In your application, please include a statement explaining why you should be considered for the funding, as well as information about your current academic standing and other accomplishments to date. Additionally, please include a supporting email from your supervisor.
