Astronz Scholarship
The Astronz Scholarship, offered via the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand, is available to undergraduate students studying at a university in New Zealand who wish to attend the annual Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand conference. The conference will take place in Nelson from Friday, May 24th to Sunday, May 26th, 2024, at the Club Waimea.

The Scholarship is worth $600 and will cover the cost of Conference Registration ($200) and attendance at the Conference Dinner ($75). The remainder of the Scholarship can be used to cover travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending the conference. Up to four Awards will be granted.

To apply for this award, please fill out the application form available from members@rasnz.org.nz by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 30th, 2024. In your application, please include a statement explaining why you should be considered for the funding, as well as information about your current academic standing and other accomplishments to date. Additionally, please include a supporting email from your supervisor.
