The Nelson Astronomical Society has arranged two pre-conference tours on Friday 24 May for early arrivals into Nelson looking for something to do.  Both tours are free-of-charge, but there may be transport costs to be covered on the day.

 

Tour 1: Pic’s Peanut Butter World (https://www.picspeanutbutter.com/ )

Meet at either the conference venue (Club Waimea, 345 Lower Queen Street, Richmond) at 10:30 am, or Pic’s Peanut Butter World (49 Saxton Road, Stoke) at 11:30 am.

Meet at the conference venue (Club Waimea, 345 Lower Queen Street, Richmond) at 1:30 pm.

As this is a visit to an operational factory, all participants MUST contact Ralph Bradley (ralphbnz@gmail.com) prior to leaving home to obtain details about the company’s health and safety requirements which will be strictly enforced.
